Hello. My name is Mangia Robinson III (aka Butch). I'm 20 years old. Growing up, it was hard sometimes. I know what it's like to be hungry and homeless. I know what it feels like to be molested. I know what it's like to want to take my own life. I've been shot at, been in fights and police chases. But, I'm here today to testify about the goodness and mercy of Jesus

As I grew into my teens, I began to rebel against my parents and I turned my back on God and started smoking weed, having sex, hanging with the wrong dudes, dropped out of high school, started stealing cars, and began to self-destruct. I straightened up a little after my daughter was born, but it wasn't enough. My parents then sent me from Detroit, Michigan, to Long Island Teen Challenge. I came in with baggy pants, baggy shirts, and my hair in corn rows. Boy, was I in for a change!

On July 5, 2002, three days into the program, I gave my heart to God. And since then my life has been phenomenal. After graduating, the ministry sent me to Bible College in August of 2003, and I'm learning to be a preacher. I give all the glory to my dad and my best friend, Jesus Christ.
