Shekinah houses 25 men who are completing Phase I one or moving into the second phase. Phase II is completed either in Long Island at Shekinah or at the 500 acre Teen Challenge Training Center in Rehresburg, Pennsylvania.

During Phase II we provide "power tools" for success. In addition to life skills that address the roots of their addiction, they need academic and work skills to compete educationally and vocationally after graduation. They continue their studies with a 12 book interactive curriculum, additional job skills preparation, counseling sessions and GED training.

For over 15 years, Long Island Teen Challenge has offered 15 months of FREE care to individuals with life-controlling problems. As a fully certified, credentialed affiliate of Teen Challenge International we utilize the treatment protocol whose success has been proven in 58 different countries for over 44 years. This track record of success that has baffled the medical community and amazed investigators makes our program a well-recognized resource to the courts, community, and concerned citizens.
